With the help of Isle of Wight Round Table, Father Christmas is travelling on his Santa Sleigh this December visiting a different town each evening. All with the aim to raise money for local charities and spread some festive cheer along the way!
Starting on Saturday the 11th December and then every evening up to and including Sunday 19th December, the Santa Sleigh will be visiting a different part of the Island each evening. To give the reindeer a rest, the Sleigh will be towed by a vehicle and will travel through the streets and stop at some locations. Make sure you come out and give Father Christmas a wave as he passes by on the Santa Sleigh adorned with lights and Christmas Music!
Up to date information including routes can be found on Isle of Wight Round Table’s Facebook page @iwroundtable and below is a guide to when the Santa Sleigh will be visiting each part of the Island or see our Events Page.
“This is our first-time helping Father Christmas and we hope this will become an annual event for the Isle of Wight linking to the other charity work we do. Our group here on the Island volunteers our time to events such as the Classic Car Show and has given money in the past for KissyPuppy (The Sophie Rolf Trust), Beulieu House and Ability Dogs 4 Young People.”
